Part-time Teacher, Social and Health Care Sector (Rehabilitation) - Saimaan ammattiopisto - Lappeenranta, Finland

Saimaan ammattiopisto Sampo is seeking a part-time teacher for social and health care subjects (rehabilitation, physiotherapy) at the Lappeenranta campus from August 3, 2026, to December 23, 2026. The qualification requirement is a professional teacher qualification in accordance with Government Decree 986/1998 on the qualifications of education personnel. The role includes teaching social and health care vocational subjects, supervising workplace learning, and responsibilities of a lead teacher, as well as tasks related to student guidance and support. The position also involves planning and developing teaching activities. Strong teamwork skills and a coaching approach to team learning and teaching are considered an advantage. The selected candidate must present a valid criminal record extract in accordance with Act 504/2002 and a medical certificate of health before the appointment is confirmed. A two-month probationary period applies at the start of employment.
