ICT Procurement Manager - HUS diagnostiikkakeskus - Helsinki, Finland

HUS is Finland's largest healthcare provider and the second largest employer in the country. HUS Procurement is a development-oriented, responsible, and forward-looking organization with approximately 70 specialists, responsible for centralized procurement and category work within HUS. Annually, procurement manages over 500 tenders for medical supplies, medical devices, and services in collaboration with healthcare professionals. ICT procurements amount to 50-70 annually. HUS IT Services is an organization of about 450 ICT professionals developing and implementing innovations in healthcare. They provide IT services to HUS, its partners, subsidiaries, joint ventures, well-being regions, and private healthcare providers and authorities. We are seeking an ICT Procurement Manager responsible for leading the ICT procurement category. The Procurement Manager will supervise four procurement specialists. Key roles and responsibilities include: * As the head of the ICT procurement category and team leader, develop the category and oversee team skill development. * Manage the procurement project portfolio, identify needs, initiate tenders with procurement specialists, and review and approve category requests up to a certain monetary threshold. * Play a central role in supplier and contract management and customer collaboration, actively monitor market developments and environmental changes. * Work closely with IT Services and Procurement management. * Leadership and team management experience are essential. Starting salary: €5900.32 per month, with possible experience and other allowances. Qualifications: * A suitable university degree and relevant experience. * Good Finnish language skills; proficiency in English is also valued. * A security clearance may be required with the applicantb4s consent. * Vaccination against infectious diseases is required for work in patient and customer facilities, and health status verification for tuberculosis is required for healthcare work.
