Licensed Practical Nurse, Iltakello Kauhava - Etelä-Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue - Kauhava, Finland

In elderly care services, in 24-hour residential care, a permanent practical nurse position is available, with the initial placement at Iltakello Kauhava. Iltakello is a home for 45 residents. The work begins according to agreement. In 24-hour residential care, we emphasize a resident-centered approach, daily life individuality, and meaningfulness. Also, everyday rehabilitation to maintain residents' functional capacity and resources, as well as high-quality end-of-life care, play a central role in our activities. We are looking for a worker oriented towards elderly care who values shared daily life with familiar residents and wants to utilize their personality and various skills in their work. In addition to good professional skills, we expect flexibility, the ability to work independently with clients, good teamwork skills, and a desire to learn new things. The work is on a three-shift schedule. The qualification requirement is a social and health care basic degree, licensed practical nurse (in accordance with law 559/1994 or 817/2015). We require registration with Valvira's register of social and health care professionals as a protected title professional. Language skills requirement is good oral and written Finnish. Medication licenses must be completed. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement, with a task-specific salary of 2627.08 euros/month at the start of employment. A trial period is observed for the employment. A certificate of health status and a criminal record extract in accordance with law 741/2023 § 28 must be presented before taking up the position. The selected candidate may be required to undergo a drug test. HYVAEP is a nicotine-free workplace. The position requires vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act § 48 and a certificate regarding tuberculosis of the respiratory tract according to § 55. Original educational and work certificates will be checked during the interview.
