HUS Occupational Health offers an opportunity to support specialized healthcare and its dedicated employees. We provide occupational health services to 27,000 HUS employees across Uusimaa with a multidisciplinary team of occupational health professionals. HUS occupational health clinics are located in Meilahti, Jorvi, Tikkurila, Hyvinkää, Lohja, and Porvoo. We conduct occupational health work ethically and sustainably. Our activities support HUS units and employees by listening to client needs and complying with laws and regulations. According to HUS strategy, occupational health is an important part of employee experience and is prioritized. Job Description We are seeking a full-time occupational health psychologist. The role emphasizes broad occupational health psychology skills, focusing on assessing and supporting factors related to work ability and psychosocial workload in work communities. Key responsibilities: * Assessing, supporting, and monitoring work ability as part of a multidisciplinary team * Evaluating and managing psychosocial stressors * Providing expert opinions in occupational health and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams * Promoting functioning within work communities and consulting/supporting supervisors * Short-term guidance and counseling sessions as part of comprehensive work ability support * Leading group activities * Delivering expert lectures to work communities and stakeholders The work is mobile and requires readiness to work at different HUS locations in the Uusimaa region. The role requires presentation skills, confidence, and strong social skills to work with various multidisciplinary teams and occupational safety personnel. Qualifications: * Licensed psychologist * Qualification in occupational health work (or commitment to complete it) * Ability to travel and work at multiple locations * Good IT skills and experience with electronic patient record systems Preferred qualifications: * Skills applicable directly to diverse occupational health environments: - Assessment methods: familiarity with research and assessment methods suitable for occupational health - Teamwork: additional training in supporting, mediating, or group work processes - Further training: e.g., short-term psychotherapy training or other expert skills for short interventions - Experience in healthcare or hospital settings - Presentation skills and social confidence The salary for this position is €4510.00/month plus possible experience and other allowances. Eligibility requirements: * Licensed psychologist with additional training in occupational health * Good spoken and written skills in Finnish; satisfactory skills in Swedish or good skills in Swedish and satisfactory skills in Finnish * Vaccination against infectious diseases as required by infectious disease law for client and patient areas * Medical certificate of health for those working in healthcare units.
