At Beneq, we build that equipment.We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Semiconductor Business Unit and take ownership of the electrical and control design behind our cutting-edge ALD systems. This is a hands-on senior engineering role. You'll be the electrical authority within a multidisciplinary team, making key decisions on PLCs, control architecture, electrical cabinets, and cable design, and seeing those decisions through, from concept and design to manufacturing and commissioning.As a global leader in ALD solutions, Beneq offers the opportunity to work on technology that directly enables the next generation of semiconductor innovation. Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical and control design of our semiconductor ALD tools as part of a cross-functional project team.
- Own the key technical decisions: PLC selection, control systems, electrical components, cabinet layout.
- Design and review electrical drawings to IEC, UL, SEMI S22, and NFPA 79.
- Run root-cause analysis on tough problems and drive lasting reliability improvements.
- Mentor other engineers and help raise the bar across the team.
Requirements
- 7 years in electrical/automation design (400/230 VAC, 24 VDC, UPS, cabinet layout, cable design)
- Degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or equivalent practical background
- Strong electrical CAD skills (Eplan P8 a plus)
- Knowledge of IEC, UL, CE, SEMI S22, NFPA 79 standards
- Structured, analytical problem-solving approach
