Special Needs Supervisor - Rinnekodit Oy - Helsinki, Finland

We are currently seeking a qualified professional with a university degree in social and health care to work as a special needs supervisor on a fixed-term basis as a substitute during study leave from August 3, 2026, to June 4, 2027. Rinnekodit’s Activity Center Tarmola offers daytime activities for people with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. Our unit is located in the center of Porvoo, near services and good transport connections. We support our clients’ agency and participation in their daily lives. We have 21 clients with varying needs from individual guidance to group activities. The daily work is planned and goal-oriented teamwork with colleagues and clients, emphasizing respectful and presence-based support. The workday includes group activities, outdoor activities, meals, and errands around the town. The role involves applying your professional expertise to support clients’ independence and overall well-being, participating in guiding, assisting, basic care, and reporting. Requirements include a university degree in social and health care, registration with the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health, a social and health care professional card (Kanta authentication card) or readiness to obtain it during the trial period, ability to demonstrate medication management skills within four months of starting employment, basic Finnish language skills, and vaccination against infectious diseases. Rinnekodit is a smoke-free and drug-free workplace. We will check a criminal record extract, not older than six months, before employment.
