Full-time Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry Teacher - Tyrnävän kunta - Tyrnävä, Finland

We are hiring A full-time teacher of mathematics, physics, and chemistry starting from August 1, 2026, for an indefinite period. Kuulammen School currently has approximately 450 students and about 50 staff members. The school includes grades 7-9 of lower secondary education. We strongly promote team thinking and aim to develop cross-disciplinary collaboration. Our goal is to nurture skilled, diligent, and well-being students with healthy self-esteem and readiness to operate in a global society, guided by a professional staff. We are seeking a professional interested in pedagogical development, with a positive and responsible work attitude. We value initiative, flexibility, good cooperation skills, and the ability to work in teams. Experience and skills in pedagogical use of information and communication technology are considered an advantage. Our school implements flexible teaching arrangements, so applicants should have sufficient skills to differentiate instruction in various groups. Experience with flexible grouping and collaboration among teachers is an advantage. Qualifications are based on the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/1998). Original degree certificates must be presented before starting the position. Salary is determined according to OVTES. The selected candidate must, within 30 days of receiving the employment decision, provide an acceptable certificate of health and a criminal record extract as required by the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children (504/2002).
