Agricultural Drone Field Operator - Eezy Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy - Vantaa, Finland

We are looking for a motivated intern or summer employee for our client company Mtech Digital Solutions Oy to join the rapidly growing agricultural drone business. This role is suitable for someone who wants to combine technology, agriculture, and practical fieldwork, and gain skills that will be in demand in the future. The position offers a unique opportunity to participate in demonstrations, showcases, deployments, and research related to agricultural drones across Finland. The work is highly practical and involves travel to farms, events, and trade shows. You will see how new technology is utilized in real field environments. In your work, you will participate in planning, preparing, and executing drone demonstrations at various customer and stakeholder events. You will also be responsible for transporting equipment using a car and trailer, and support on-site customer events by handling practical arrangements. Additionally, you will be involved in research analyzing the benefits and differences of agricultural drones compared to traditional fertilization methods, focusing on cost-effectiveness, workflow, time management, application accuracy, and environmental impact. This provides an excellent basis for a thesis or graduation project. We expect from you: - Valid BE driving license and readiness to drive with a trailer - Interest in agriculture, technology, and drones - Practical approach and problem-solving skills for fieldwork challenges - Natural communication skills in customer interactions - Suitable educational background (agronomist or master's in agricultural or forest sciences, studies may be ongoing) - Basic knowledge of plant protection and agricultural practices is considered an advantage The work is weekdays with an average of 20-37.5 hours per week, including evening and weekend work during events and trade shows. The position is expected to be from May to September, with flexible start and end dates. There may also be occasional work after this period. Salary is based on the company's collective agreement, plus mileage allowance.
