Job Description
We are looking for a warm-hearted and professional early childhood education childcare worker for the period 31.8.2026-30.6.2027 at Pihakoivu daycare center. As an early childhood education childcare worker, your duties include holistic care for children and supporting their growth and development. As a team member, you will participate in the planning and implementation of activities and work in close cooperation with both team members and the children's guardians. We follow the level-based salary system that came into effect on 1.10.2025, where the A1 level salary is 2453.73 €/month. The applicable collective agreement is KVTES (General Municipal Government Employees' Collective Agreement). We apply a four (4) month probationary period. The City of Forssa is a smoke-free workplace. Before accepting the position, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (504/2002). The eligibility requirement for the early childhood education childcare worker position is a practical nurse degree completed according to the education program for the care and education of children and youth, or an equivalent vocational qualification in child and family work with the title of child guidance counselor. Good proficiency in the Finnish language is required.
