Nature Conservation Specialist - Pohjois-Pohjanmaan elinkeino-, liikenne- ja ympäristökeskus

The goal of the position is to promote the condition of streams and springs in the South Ostrobothnia region as part of the HELMI habitat environment program. The responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing restoration sites related to small water bodies and shoreline nature, as well as collaborating with landowners and stakeholders. The specialist will also prepare or oversee the preparation of restoration plans and procurement processes, including drafting related documents. The role involves collecting and developing existing guidelines, guiding designers and implementers, exporting restoration plans to the ULJAS environmental data system, and communicating about the project. The position is based in Vaasa, Seinäjoki, or Kokkola.
