Daycare Director - Touhula Leikki Oy - Rauma, Finland

We are seeking a daycare director for Touhula Rauma. This role suits you if you already have experience or a strong motivation to grow into a leader and develop as a early childhood education professional. At the same time, you will get to familiarize yourself with private early childhood education and its agile, evolving operational environment. Daily activities also include trips to places such as Vanha Rauma, Lähdepellon sports center, and nearby areas like Pori’s Pelle Hermanni park. Collaboration with families is close to our heart. We use the modern TouGo app for communication. Additionally, we organize community events such as parent coffee mornings, grandparent days, and winter and spring events. As a leader, you have a genuine opportunity to influence the daily life, culture, and pedagogical implementation of the daycare. The role of daycare director requires a self-driven and responsible approach. You are responsible for ensuring the quality of early childhood education at your daycare, customer and staff satisfaction, personnel management, and operational profitability. You oversee the smooth daily operations and pedagogical content of the daycare. You will work closely with the team leader and other daycare directors in the region. You will also receive support from Touhula’s support services. The most important collaboration groups are your daycare’s families and staff. You understand that working in early childhood education involves close cooperation with families and you prioritize customer service when meeting new and existing families. You support your staff’s excellence in their work and enable a smooth daily routine in your daycare. The work is dynamic and full of changing situations, requiring flexibility and excellent time management and organizational skills.
