In Ristijärvi, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in tourism development, communication, marketing, and event organization. You may also participate in other development tasks as needed. We especially hope to see growth in our project activities, the number of events, the business sector, and the population. You will conduct background research, studies, prepare communication and marketing materials, and participate in the planning and organization of events. To succeed in this role, we expect you to have: - Excellent communication, cooperation, and interaction skills - Initiative, passion, and courage to develop new ideas - Ability to work independently and in networks - Language skills in Finnish C2, English C1, and other languages (Swedish, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese) Applicants with previous experience in developing vitality services, projects, the business sector, cultural production, or municipal work are considered an advantage. We value at least 2 years of higher education studies, meaning you are currently studying at a university or a university of applied sciences. The internship duration is from September 1 to November 30, 2026, or as agreed, during the fall and December. The internship lasts three months and is unpaid. The municipality offers a free room or accommodation to students, work learners, or interns coming to the Ristijärvi municipal organization, regardless of their home municipality, for up to 3 months per applicant. Conditions for the benefit: 1) the applicant cannot live at home in Ristijärvi, 2) accommodation is offered based on the municipality's rental situation, 3) a valid student certificate and an agreement on the internship or apprenticeship must be attached to the application, and 4) no security deposit is charged, but any repair costs caused by the tenant and final cleaning are paid by the tenant.
