We are looking for a part-time (82.35%) SCHOOL ASSISTANT for Järvenpää city at Kinnari School. The weekly working hours are 31 hours and 30 minutes. As a school assistant, you will plan your work together with the team of teachers and other supervisors. You will work with a student group and sometimes support individual students personally. After the school day, your tasks continue with supervising afternoon activities organized at the school. Kinnari School is located centrally in Järvenpää; the train station is less than a 10-minute walk away. Our school is a comprehensive school for grades 1–9 with approximately 900 students. Qualifications A person with suitable education such as a school assistant, early childhood education, practical nurse, youth and leisure instructor, or other relevant training can apply. Employment conditions - The employment is fixed-term from August 11, 2026, to June 5, 2027. - Contract area KVTES - The salary is based on the job’s complexity and experience. - The level salary for a general education school assistant is 2403.43 €/month. - Part-time (82.35%) salary is 1979.22 €/month. - Additional experience-based pay according to collective agreement (up to 8% of the task-specific salary) is paid when earned. - The trial period is half the duration of the fixed-term employment. - The selected candidate must provide a criminal record extract as per law no. 504/2002. - Järvenpää uses annual working hours.
