Job Description
FORCIT is a leading manufacturer of explosives and defense systems, providing related services. We are experiencing strong growth in our land product line and are seeking a Product Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our products throughout their lifecycle. The role involves product development, maintenance, and partial design, acting as a link between design, development, production, and other stakeholders. The engineer ensures products meet quality, cost, and customer requirements efficiently and innovatively. Responsibilities include managing product lifecycle data, supporting project teams, and ensuring product manufacturability. The role offers opportunities for career advancement to product management. Requirements include a suitable technical education (e.g., MSc or engineer), experience in electronics and/or mechanical product design and lifecycle management, system requirement management, and good problem-solving skills. Knowledge of defense industry projects, manufacturing methods, and experience with CAD software like SolidWorks are advantageous.
