Job Description
Join our team to work on Finland's most demanding traffic light design projects. WSP's traffic team is expanding, and we are looking for a traffic light designer with experience in traffic light design and the ability to work independently within a strong expert environment. You will be part of a small but skilled smart traffic and traffic management team, sharing expertise daily. The team values collaboration, has experienced colleagues, and includes over 80 traffic experts. Your role involves designing traffic light control to improve traffic systems, working on major projects like alliance projects and urban development initiatives such as Helsinki's infrastructure program alliance. You will develop your skills in smart traffic and traffic management, utilizing new technologies, and taking responsibility for project execution and process development. The role offers opportunities to expand into traffic control, guidance, tunnel technology, and other smart traffic solutions. You will collaborate actively with other design specialists to ensure smooth project delivery. We prefer candidates based in Helsinki or Tampere but are flexible with other locations. The work is hybrid.
