We are looking for a welder for our client company, Plate Power Oy, in Lapua, for a permanent full-time position. The recruitment is carried out in cooperation with Wulff Works, and applications and inquiries are handled by Wulff Works. Work begins immediately after a suitable candidate is found, and there are long-term employment opportunities. The work is performed in two shifts. As a welder, you will work as part of the production team, where careful workmanship, a positive attitude, and good teamwork are valued. Your tasks include welding according to technical drawings and other production duties. The materials to be welded are mainly black iron, stainless steel, and aluminum. The work primarily involves MIG and MAG welding, with some TIG welding. You do not need to be a top expert to apply. Plate Power provides thorough training, and the most important qualities are a willingness to learn and genuine interest in the metal industry. If the tasks later focus more on aluminum welding, training will be provided if needed. Reading technical drawings is an advantage, but even those early in their careers are suitable for the position.
