Job Description
As a Senior Engineer on our new Growth team, your mission would be to build and iterate on features and systems that drive user acquisition, activation, and retention - ultimately accelerating n8n’s self-serve growth engine. This is a unique opportunity to be among the founding engineers on a high-impact team where you’ll collaborate closely with product, design, marketing, and engineering peers to improve the entire Cloud user journey - from sign-up to subscription. You will improve and maintain growth-critical features such as signup, onboarding, and the admin dashboard to ensure a smooth, performant experience for every new user. You will design, build, and A/B test new features to increase conversion and retention, including upgrade flows, contextual prompts, or new pricing nudges. You will help build and optimize services to enable user growth at scale, like in-app messaging platforms, billing systems, and email orchestration tools. Your work will directly contribute to n8n’s ARR, user retention, and growth KPIs, tracking performance and iterating to improve activation and retention. Projects may include adding social login and personalization, creating onboarding experiences, building upgrade/downgrade flows, and developing in-app notification platforms.
