School Assistant (Mäntynummi Comprehensive School) - Lohjan kaupunki - Lohja, Finland

Mäntynummi Comprehensive School is a school for approximately 500 students in Lohja. The school is located in Mäntynummi, amidst beautiful ridge nature, with good transportation connections. Currently, we operate in well-functioning temporary facilities in Mäntynummi and in Rantapuisto in Lohja town center, awaiting the completion of a new multi-purpose building and school, expected in 2029. Our teaching staff consists of about 60 members. We are seeking a school assistant (30 hours/week) for Mäntynummi Comprehensive School for a permanent position starting August 10, 2026. The role is in the special class for grades 7-9. You will collaborate daily with the special class teacher and other staff. Your tasks include: - Guiding and supporting students during lessons - Assisting and supporting students during transition situations, free time, and recess You will receive training for your duties. In addition, experience-based pay may be paid, up to 8%. A six-month probation period applies. The employer will specify situations where a certificate of health from Keski-Uudenmaan Työterveys Oy, Lohja branch, is required within one month of starting employment.
