Raikka Oy is a Finnish company that manufactures machined parts and defense supplies. The company's headquarters are located in Espoo and the production plants in Eurajoki. The company's operations are divided into two business units: a machine shop and an explosives factory. The synergy and cooperation between these units strengthen the entire company, especially in innovation and production. We are now looking for a PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER for a permanent employment relationship in Eurajoki. In the position, you will strengthen the existing product development team with your expertise in mechanics and mechatronics. In your duties, you will be responsible, together with the team, for the product development, management, documentation and implementation of the projects you lead, and in addition, you will ensure the operation of the systems in all operating conditions. In addition to the above, you will work closely with the parties defining the requirements for product development tasks. As an applicant, you have strong expertise and work experience in the design of mechanics / mechatronics and safety-critical systems. Required for the person selected for the position: - Engineer or Master of Science in Technology education and work experience in similar positions - English language skills (written/oral) - System expertise (Solidworks) - Documentation skills Considered an advantage for the person selected for the position: - Experience in electronics design - Previous experience in cooperation with authorities - Organizing, communication and teamwork skills - Independent and overall responsible way of working - Good ability to withstand pressure - Ability to manage several projects simultaneously A basic security clearance will be carried out for the person selected for the position.
