We are currently seeking a Research Funding Specialist for the EU team in the Research and Project Services unit, to a permanent position. The team supports researchers in acquiring external funding and in the implementation and reporting of funded projects, focusing on Horizon Europe support during application and project execution. The role involves advising on EU funding, especially Pillar II thematic calls and Pillar III EIC support, providing guidance, training, and communication related to EU funding, supporting researchers in application preparation, participating in EU advocacy, and collaborating with stakeholders. Requirements include a higher university degree, knowledge of EU funding (especially Pillar II and EIC), experience with EU projects or application processes, fluent Finnish and English skills, good communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work under deadlines. A doctorate, EU network knowledge, and proactive attitude are advantageous.
