Folkhälsan Welfare Ltd is recruiting early childhood education teachers for Björnen Daycare for a permanent position. We are looking for qualified early childhood education teachers who want to create a safe and inspiring environment for children, focusing on development, learning, and well-being. The position is full-time and begins in August 2026 or by agreement. Björnen is a Swedish-speaking, diploma-certified health-promoting daycare with children aged 1–6 years, also offering preschool education. It is located in the scenic Kyrkslätt. You will have the opportunity to work close to nature and tranquility, with approximately a half-hour commute from the Helsinki metropolitan area. We learn to appreciate nature and regularly go on forest excursions. As an early childhood education teacher, you are responsible for and plan the pedagogical activities. The work environment includes knowledgeable educators and other experts. We operate in accordance with the Basic Education Plan for Early Childhood Education and Folkhälsan’s handbook. Qualifications include eligibility under the Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018) or current transitional provisions (Section 75): a Bachelor of Education (early childhood education), a suitable higher education degree, or an equivalent qualification at the institute level, such as a kindergarten teacher or social pedagogue.
