Job Description
South Savo Wellbeing Services Eloisa is seeking a social worker for child protection out-of-home care on a permanent basis starting from 1 July 2026 or as agreed. The position's duties will initially be based in Mikkeli and Pieksämäki. You will be part of an out-of-home care multidisciplinary team in Mikkeli, but clients will be referred from both Mikkeli and Pieksämäki. As a social worker, you will be responsible for children's issues, such as preparing client plans and assessing and arranging support measures. The work is responsible, diverse, and independent, but not solitary, as a work partner is always available, along with colleagues' support and expertise, as well as supervision. Our work is flexible, responding to clients' needs and considering employees' wishes and strengths. Your daily work will be supported by a team consisting of social workers, social pedagogy professionals, family workers, a family therapist, and a supervisor. The multidisciplinary child protection expert group meets monthly, and the SAS working group meets weekly. Our goal is to serve approximately 25 clients. In addition to a competitive salary, our work offers a sense of achievement and a collaborative atmosphere! Our team is welcoming, and onboarding is tailored to your needs. We are positive about training and organize annual training sessions both within our organization and externally. The working hours are 37.75 hours per week, and remote work can be arranged weekly in agreement with the supervisor. Eloisa offers employees a benefit of 200 euros to be used for sports, culture, or wellbeing services. We want you to enjoy working with us and to feel good.
