We are looking for two (2) nurses for permanent positions in the endoscopy unit of Meilahti Hospital. The start date for the permanent positions is September 1, 2026. What does the work involve? In our unit, you will work as a procedure nurse in a multidisciplinary team. Endoscopic examinations in our unit include, for example, gastroscopies, colonoscopies, bronchoscopies, and ERCP examinations. Most of our patients are treated electively, but we also perform emergency examinations. Our unit has strong expertise in stopping GI tract leaks and removing lesions, placing various stents and PEG tubes, and esophageal dilations. Some procedures are performed under anesthesia, and our unit has its own observation room for these patients. What do we hope for from you? You do not need previous experience in endoscopy work. The most important things for the position are a positive attitude and enthusiasm to develop into an endoscopy specialist. Successful performance of the work requires good physical condition, an independent approach to work, good cooperation skills, and the ability to operate in a multidisciplinary team.
