Substitute Practical Nurse, Elderly Services, Resource Pool for Residential Services, Salo, Somero, Turku - Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue

In this role, you will perform meaningful nursing work in various residential units and utilize your skills in diverse situations as part of multidisciplinary teams. The position is temporary, from May 18, 2023, to August 30, 2026. Your tasks include ensuring sufficient trained staff in residential units during staff absences, working in different units within your region based on needs, and performing practical nurse tasks in 24-hour and short-term care, assessment and rehabilitation units, and communal housing. The work is varied, requiring working in different environments within multidisciplinary teams. You will receive comprehensive orientation. The work involves two-shift work on weekdays and weekends. You will have the opportunity to develop and expand your skills in diverse work environments, with support from a regional supervisor and skilled colleagues. We expect you to have a customer-oriented approach, good cooperation skills, and flexibility. You operate independently and adapt to changing situations. The role requires good IT skills and the possibility to use your own car. Good spoken and written Finnish skills are required. You must hold a valid LOVe medication license. Eligibility requires a professional qualification in social and health care (practical nurse) or an equivalent previous qualification, along with a valid registration in JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registers.
