Registered Nurse for the Complex Rehabilitation Department in Kajaani - Kainuun hyvinvointialue - Kajaani, Finland

Welcome to work in the complex rehabilitation department! This is a temporary position for a registered nurse in the complex rehabilitation department from June 8 to August 31, 2026. Join our team, where you will engage in meaningful and diverse work with neurological and orthopedic patients' rehabilitation. The complex rehabilitation department is located at Kainuu Central Hospital in Kajaani. As a nurse, you will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and rehabilitation as part of a multidisciplinary team. The work is genuinely inspiring, rewarding, and offers opportunities for professional development. In addition to nurses and doctors, the team includes occupational, speech, and physiotherapists. The goal is for the rehabilitee to be discharged to their own home. The work involves three-shift rotation, with at least three night shifts in a three-week schedule. Suitability for the role is a key selection criterion. Experience in rehabilitative care is an advantage. Qualifications include a licensed nurse qualification. We require vaccination against infectious diseases as per section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act. The salary is based on the job complexity assessment confirmed by the Kainuu Welfare Area. The work can start as soon as possible according to the agreement. The position will be filled when a suitable candidate is found. The trial period is half of the employment duration.
