Would you like to lead an experienced warehouse team and develop modern warehouse operations as part of one of Finland's most well-known logistics and moving service companies? Niemi Palvelut Oy is now seeking a warehouse supervisor for their Helsinki warehouse on a permanent basis. This role combines daily management, staff coaching, and continuous development of warehouse functions. You will have the opportunity to influence the future of the warehouse, particularly in WMS, AI, and automation development. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, organizing resources, and ensuring smooth team activities. The role emphasizes practical leadership, a safe working environment, and a mindset of continuous improvement. Your tasks include: Planning, organizing, and monitoring daily warehouse activities; Guiding employees, providing feedback, and ensuring workflow efficiency; Orientation and skills development; Ensuring safety and quality standards; Managing materials, inventories, and warehouse status; Collaborating with various stakeholders; Customer service (internal and external); Resolving and reporting deviations; Participating in hands-on warehouse work; Developing new procedures and systems; Leading a team of 10 experienced warehouse staff. Additionally, you will work with new industry professionals seasonally and as needed. You will be supported by the warehouse manager. We hope you have: Over 3 years of supervisory experience; Experience in team leadership and staff coaching; Understanding of warehouse operations and practices; Experience or knowledge of WMS/ERP systems; Ability to lead performance and develop operations long-term; Good communication and collaboration skills; Solution-oriented and proactive work attitude; Work safety expertise; Fluent Finnish and basic English skills. Preferred qualifications: Experience in warehouse development projects; Understanding of logistics and freight industry rules; Experience with Dynamics 365 environments or similar systems.
