Chief Supervisor - Museovirasto - Helsinki, Finland

We are seeking a chief supervisor to initiate, develop, and maintain the daily operations of our sites' control rooms. The role offers an opportunity to work with museum and exhibition technology. The position is located at the National Museum in Helsinki, which will reopen to the public in 2027, and at the Collection Center of the National Board of Antiquities in Vantaa. The chief supervisor is responsible for the daily security work at the sites under the supervision of the agency's management. They ensure that the control room and staff at different sites operate smoothly within given instructions and legal frameworks. Key responsibilities: - Daily control room work at the National Museum and the Collection Center - Planning work shifts for the control room team, daily supervision, and managing substitutions - Developing control room operations and site safety in collaboration with site personnel and facility management experts - Training control room staff and maintaining operational guidelines - Supervising external security personnel - Developing safety training and instructions related to site security in cooperation with other facility management staff - Cooperation with authorities and stakeholders in disturbances and emergencies There are no statutory qualification requirements for this position. A security clearance will be conducted for the selected candidate. The position includes a six-month probation period. The work is mainly day shifts, but working hours may also include evenings and weekends.
