Job Description
We are now looking for a System Specialist in Monitoring and Log Management to join our ICT-services team at the University of Oulu. The role involves developing and maintaining observability capabilities across diverse IT environments, including data centers, cloud platforms, and container-based systems. Responsibilities include designing and improving monitoring processes, evaluating tools, managing platforms, supporting system owners, and ensuring compliance with legislation and security policies. The position offers opportunities for skill development, flexible remote work, and career growth. The ideal candidate has a relevant higher education degree, excellent teamwork skills, relevant Kubernetes certification, and experience with monitoring solutions, hybrid infrastructures, and security requirements.
