Job Description
The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found. I am looking for a substitute personal assistant. I need someone who can work as a substitute on short notice. The position offers a permanent 0-hour contract and occasional shifts. Work primarily takes place in Tornio, but I also need assistance during trips within Finland. Shifts can be scheduled for any day of the week, including mornings and evenings. Some trips may last overnight. All shifts are agreed upon separately. The work follows the collective agreement of the Heta union and the salary is based on Heta’s salary group A (12.89€/hour). There are no formal education requirements. I only require that the candidate is at least 18 years old and fluent in Finnish. Experience in similar work is not necessary. I will provide training. Awareness or interest in neurodiversity and Tourette’s syndrome is a plus. I expect you to be proactive, social, reliable, and friendly. You should be able to follow instructions and remain calm in challenging or unexpected situations. I am looking for someone who offers help proactively and gets along well with others. I will provide both verbal and written instructions for different situations and am happy to answer questions. About me: I am Annika, a 20-year-old woman studying a creative field at vocational school. I have ADHD, autism, Tourette’s syndrome, and a rare illness affecting my functioning. As an employer, I am relaxed and flexible. I am social and talkative. Where I need assistance: Your tasks may include, for example: Assisting with mobility, mainly pushing a wheelchair; Assisting with communication; Supporting with activity planning; Assisting during episodes; Occasionally other tasks.
