Property Caretaker (Haapavesi-Ylivieska) - ISS Palvelut Oy

We are currently looking for a PROPERTY CARETAKER for our client sites in the Haapavesi – Ylivieska area! In this role, you will mainly be responsible for property maintenance of our client sites located in Haapavesi and Ylivieska. The work of a property caretaker is diverse and combines indoor and outdoor tasks. Your duties include maintenance, repair, and servicing of technical and building automation systems, keeping maintenance records, and minor repairs. You will also be responsible for outdoor area maintenance, such as snow clearing and anti-slip measures, as well as waste collection and flagging. Work is primarily performed on weekdays, but tasks such as flagging and outdoor maintenance based on weather conditions may also be carried out in the evenings and on weekends as needed. Additionally, there is a weekly on-call duty, approximately every 4 weeks, requiring 24/7 readiness to respond to work tasks, for which additional compensation is paid. The position is part-time (20 hours/week), with the possibility of additional hours. The work begins as soon as possible according to agreement and is temporary for about 1 year. There may be an opportunity for continuation after this period. The salary is at least according to the Property Services Sector Collective Agreement, salary group 3, and is paid based on actual hours worked, with possible additional pay for training based on completed qualifications. Salary group 3 is €12.88/hour until July 31, and €13.22/hour from August 1. Additional individual pay based on skills may also be provided. ISS is the right place for you! A valid B-class driver’s license, allowing operation of manual transmission vehicles. Use of your own car is an advantage. Safety and fire safety certificates. Valid certificates are an advantage, but we will arrange training if needed. Fluent Finnish language skills and good physical condition. Proactive and precise work approach. Excellent service attitude and problem-solving skills. Up-to-date IT skills; you are proficient with computers and electronic maintenance records. A clean background: passing a basic security clearance is a requirement for the employment contract, in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (726/2014).
