Registered Nurse, Elderly Services, Resource Pool for Residential Services, Turku - Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Turku, Finland

This position offers you varied work and a broad overview of elderly residential services in the Turku area. You will work as a permanent employee in the resource pool as a nurse in elderly residential units. You will act as a substitute nurse according to a pre-planned work schedule and support the healthcare professionals in your area's resource pool. Additionally, you will train new employees in resource pool tasks and medication management (LOVe), and handle medication management exams and demonstrations for staff. Your work environment will vary between 24-hour care units, short-term rehabilitative care, communal housing, and assessment and rehabilitation units. The role requires travel between different units within the Turku area. The work is mainly during weekday mornings. We provide comprehensive orientation to your area's units and the resource pool's operations. You will have diverse and independent work supported by your team and supervisor. You will have opportunities to develop and expand your skills through Varha's extensive training offerings. You have experience in elderly services and a desire to work in a varied and mobile role. We value good cooperation and communication skills, organizational ability, and the capacity for independent work and decision-making. A development-oriented attitude and readiness to work in different units are important. The role requires a valid driver’s license, access to a personal car, mobility between units, and proficiency in spoken and written Finnish.
