Are you passionate about painting? We have an open position at our valve factory! Valmet's Flow Control business line is one of the leading providers of flow control solutions and services in the industry. Our valves and valve automation solutions are known for their quality, reliability, and safety. Our customers operate in the oil and gas refining, pulp, paper, and bioproduct industries, chemical industry, and other process industries. We are now looking for a Painter for a permanent position at our valve factory in Vantaa, focusing on valve painting processes. In the paint shop, your main tasks will include shot blasting of valves, actuators, and components, and painting according to instructions. The job also involves touch-up painting at assembly and customer inspection points, as well as production reporting. The work is diverse and involves rotation. In addition to painting, you will participate in various tasks supporting the painting process, so workdays will vary and the work is not constantly repetitive. In the painting process, you will work with valves and components of various sizes, from small parts to large assemblies. The job includes protecting parts, automatic and manual blasting, painting, and inspecting the quality and film thickness of the paint surface according to customer requirements. What do we expect from you? * Experience or studies in industrial painting, especially high-pressure and airless spray painting. Knowledge of shot blasting is also important. * Precision is required, especially in protecting valves, following painting instructions, and inspecting the quality of the paint finish. * Understanding of the importance of safety regulations. * Good teamwork skills, as the work involves collaboration with other departments and colleagues. * Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently, especially during special paint jobs. We do not require years of experience in the role. You can be at the beginning of your career or a professional coming from shipyard or other industrial painting backgrounds. The most important thing is the right attitude, careful work, and willingness to learn. We will provide comprehensive training for the role. The position requires fluent Finnish and basic English skills. Additionally, we value safety and crane operation certificates, but we will train the selected candidate if necessary. What do we offer?
