Part-time Teacher (AI), Laanila High School and Madetoja Music High School - Oulun kaupunki - Oulu, Finland

A fixed-term position as a part-time teacher is available at Laanila High School and Madetoja Music High School from August 10, 2026, to February 8, 2027. Subjects taught will be Finnish language and literature. Laanila High School is a school with over 400 students and about 25 teachers, located on the north bank of Oulu River. In January 2027, the entire school building will be available as the middle school moves to Jääkärinkangas. The facilities will be renovated and modernized, and student numbers are expected to increase to over 500 during 2027-2029. The students have named our school "Rakkauden Laanila" (Love Laanila). Providing general education to young people with modern teaching methods is a core value for us — truly out of love for science, art, skills, and humanity. The atmosphere is cozy and encouraging. Madetoja Music High School is a music-focused school with 420 students, designated as a national special task. It is located in the Pohjankartano building in central Oulu. All students are enrolled in the national special task for music, which is reflected in our daily activities.
