Job Description

Verkonrakentaja Wire is one of Finland's oldest network construction companies. We have been a reliable partner in energy and telecommunications for over 30 years. Our services include planning, project management, construction, installation, documentation, and post-inspections, tailored to customer needs from turnkey projects to sub-services. We employ about 30 permanent staff and have partner companies with 70-100 personnel seasonally. Our turnover is approximately 17 million euros, with offices in Parola and Vantaa. From October 2025, Verkonrakentaja Wire has been part of the Nordic Aterion Group, offering comprehensive services to electricity network owners, industrial operators, and other critical infrastructure owners. We are seeking an experienced and goal-oriented Account Manager responsible for sales and customer relationship development in the electrical network construction sector. The role combines commercial responsibility, technical understanding, and the opportunity to influence company growth, reporting to the CEO. Responsibilities include sales of electrical network construction services, building and developing long-term customer relationships, preparing and technically defining offers, negotiating new contracts, project monitoring from a sales perspective, identifying new business opportunities, supporting production, and budgeting. We expect you to be technically skilled, commercially ambitious, with strong customer insight and a desire to grow the business. You should have relevant education, understanding of electrical networks, infrastructure construction, project economics, and market, experience in B2B sales, proposal management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to combine technical content with commercial thinking. Proficiency in Finnish is required; English skills are an advantage. Experience in electrical network construction or design and energy sector networking is valued.
