We are currently hiring a practical nurse for a fixed-term contract from July 6 to December 31, 2026. The work is full-time. The unit is located in Metsokangas, Ukkoherrantie 6, Oulu. The caregiver plays a key role in recognizing individual needs and ensuring quality care, respecting the client's autonomy and treating them with respect. The daily work includes guiding children and youth, basic care, medication administration, and written tasks. You will act as a safe adult in the unit and may have responsibilities within the team. You will bring joy and meaningful experiences to daily life, ensuring the well-being of children and youth by advising and guiding them. You can influence the content of the day by planning activities and shared experiences. Reporting and documentation are part of daily tasks, and close cooperation with families and the network is essential. We expect you to have a practical nurse qualification, registration with the Finnish National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira), readiness for three-shift work, basic Finnish language skills, and the ability to act as an approachable and safe adult in the unit. Rinnekodit is a smoke-free and drug-free workplace, with health checks including vaccination verification. A criminal record extract according to law 504/2002, not older than six months, is required.
