We are looking for a motivated and skilled moisture meter reader for our client in Kajaani, for a permanent position. The job involves examining the condition of buildings, performing moisture measurements, and investigating possible moisture and indoor air problems in various sites. The work sites range from single-family homes to housing companies, commercial properties, and public buildings, offering diverse and varied workdays. The position is suitable for a construction professional who wants to work in an expert role and help clients find reliable solutions related to building conditions. Typical tasks include moisture measurements, damage assessments, and report writing. Responsibilities: Your tasks will include moisture measurements, moisture surveys, and structural condition assessments in different sites. You will prepare measurement reports and carefully document observations for clients and partners. When needed, you will participate in building condition and damage investigations and serve as an expert for clients during the review of measurement results. The work involves traveling between different sites within the Kainuu region and using modern measurement equipment. Requirements: We expect you to have a construction-related education or previous experience in moisture measurements, condition assessments, or construction tasks. We value precise and systematic work habits, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A B-driver's license is essential, as the job involves traveling between different client sites. A moisture meter certification or other relevant training is a plus, but the most important thing is a desire to develop and learn more about building condition assessments.
