Ophthalmologist Specialist in Vaasa - ONNI - Vaasa, Finland

We are recruiting an ophthalmologist specialist in Vaasa. Period: October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2028. Individual workdays and periods are scheduled according to the employer's needs and the doctor's availability. We are happy to hear about your availability for this assignment period. Working hours: The workday is from 8:00 to 15:30, including a 30-minute lunch break. The work is on-site in Vaasa. Requirements: Licensed ophthalmologist in Finland, at least two years of experience as a specialist doctor, Valvira/PublicHealth register information in order. We require proficiency in Finnish and Swedish, and patient records must be understood in both languages. Job description: The work involves outpatient care at the ophthalmology clinic and on-call ophthalmology duties during office hours. Tasks may include minor procedures such as laser treatments and Ozurdex implants, as well as consulting with nursing staff. Surgical procedures are not part of the duties. The goal is approximately 12 patients per day. Patient record system: LifeCare. The employer will provide guidance on system use if the doctor is not already familiar.
