Read more: metsagroup.com/metsaforall. This recruitment is conducted anonymously. We are looking for a Process Specialist for Metsä Spring’s test factory in Äänekoski, for a permanent position. What will you do? Metsä Spring is seeking a process technology professional for the 3D fiber product project. Metsä Spring Oy, together with Valmet, has a pilot plant for 3D fiber products in Äänekoski. The technology involves the entire process from wet pulp to three-dimensional packaging product with no intermediate steps, using innovative technology. The pilot plant has been operational for about 3 years, developing and testing new manufacturing technologies and packaging solutions for future investment decisions. The Process Specialist is responsible for controlling the entire process, manufacturing market test batches and commercial deliveries, conducting test runs and pilot runs with laboratory equipment. They are also central in developing new manufacturing technology and new packaging products. Key tasks include operating and developing the new process, troubleshooting, developing safe working methods, improving product properties and manufacturing technology, maintaining process equipment, and testing new product solutions in laboratory equipment.
