We are seeking a Chief Architect for the Varsinais-Suomi welfare area (Varha) to strengthen our organization's architecture capabilities and support the planned development of operations, data, information systems, and technology. As a Chief Architect, you will develop architecture that supports Varha's strategic goals and helps ensure that development projects, procurements, and solutions form a managed, interoperable, and sustainable whole. You will work closely with management, development, data management, IT administration, service area experts, and in-house partners. Your tasks include developing and maintaining the overall architecture, coordinating business, data, system, and technology architectures, participating in architecture governance, preparing descriptions and roadmaps, facilitating stakeholder collaboration, identifying dependencies and risks, participating in master data management development, and supporting decision-making. The work involves some remote work. We offer an opportunity to influence the development of one of Finland's largest welfare areas, work in a key role combining strategic thinking and practical implementation, and collaborate broadly. We expect an analytical, solution-oriented, and practical approach, a relevant higher education degree, experience in enterprise or system architecture, understanding of organizational development and data use, ability to translate broad entities into practical solutions, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and good Finnish language skills. Additional valued skills include familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), knowledge of the operational environment, and Swedish language skills.
