Job Description
We are now looking to welcome a new Global Application Support Scientist for mass spectrometry to join our team in Turku. The Global Application Support Team consists of top professionals providing high-level technical and scientific support to our customers globally. Key Responsibilities: - Responding to customer or field personnel enquiries regarding the Reproductive Health mass spectrometry products and related applications or their use, including troubleshooting, data analysis and technical guidance - Product and application training of customers, field application scientists, sales, distributors and service personnel - Site visits for higher level troubleshooting and training - Participating in New Product Development projects by bringing the voice of customer in the projects and by conducting evaluations for new products - Support launch of NPI’s - Maintaining support and training laboratories and instruments - Taking part in annual post marketing surveillance of mass spectrometry products, software, and instruments - Participating in expert roles and collaborating with other internal functions, such as quality, R&D, business and manufacturing Qualifications: - Master’s or PhD degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry or Biology - Experience in a similar role - 3-5 years of hands-on experience with mass spectrometry systems (triple quadruple) - A strong understanding of small molecule LC-MSMS workflows, experience with clinical applications of mass spectrometry - Experience in customer relationships - Customer focused problem solver mindset, strong project and time management skills - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in English, other language skills are considered as an advantage - Willingness to travel globally up to 30-40 % What we offer: - Fascinating field of expertise with well established customers - Work in a high-tech, innovative, team oriented, energetic and scientific environment - Extensive development opportunities - Positive and inspiring workplace with great co-workers - Truly international working environment

Requirements
