Are you a creative problem solver who enjoys tackling challenges that typically do not have ready or easy solutions? If your answer is yes, the role of Chief Physician in the shared social and health services reform line at LUVN might be just for you. The reform services include designing and implementing a personal doctor model, purchasing and outsourcing health services including practitioners, and a centralized digital health service unit. Your work will focus on the personal doctor model and professionals working within it. You will be involved in planning, implementing, and continuously developing our personal doctor model. Our high goals include restoring residents' trust in health center operations, creating more engaging roles for professionals, and improving the cost-effectiveness of the service system by emphasizing continuous care at the basic level. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as a guide for the direction related to continuous care and the personal doctor model, and communicating with LUVN’s health centers, other services, and external stakeholders (e.g., THL and the Medical Association) - Developing medical management methods and tools for autonomous teams operating under the personal doctor model - Overseeing the activities of practicing physicians from a medical perspective and developing this in collaboration with practitioners and health center management - Participating in marketing the model to doctors and serving as a contact person for those interested in becoming personal doctors or practitioners - Contributing to the development of a financially sustainable practitioner model and contract framework - Participating in or leading research projects related to the personal doctor model - The role does not primarily involve patient work. We expect from you: - An open interest in new operational models - Proven success in service development - Courage to challenge existing practices - Excellent collaboration and communication skills - Ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment - Experience as a general practitioner and leadership or interest in leading general practitioners. Qualifications: Medical Licentiate degree. We offer: - An opportunity to influence one of the most significant primary healthcare reforms at the national level - A key role in an organization committed to improving services and professional roles - A multidisciplinary and dedicated team working together to solve new problems - A permanent position with competitive compensation and employment benefits. Workplace: Tekniikantie 15, 02150 Espoo. Working hours: 38 hours 15 minutes per week. The position is a civil service position. Candidates will be asked to provide a substance abuse certificate from the West Uusimaa Welfare Area’s drug program on a random basis. We are agents of change. We boldly reform what needs improvement and preserve what works. We invest in the well-being of every employee and offer diverse benefits. We provide a lunch benefit and an annual €300 allowance for cultural, wellness, sports, or travel tickets. Additionally, you will have opportunities to develop your skills through extensive online training via Eduhous and Oppiporta.
