Job Description
A different kind of work than anywhere else – come work at Lapland airports! Kuusamo offers diverse nature experiences and practical everyday services nearby. At the airport, you will work in various roles related to aviation in a practical and active environment. During the Lapland season, aircraft cargo handling is hands-on and fast-paced teamwork, where the quality of work is achieved through collaboration. We are looking for positive and proactive cargo loaders who are not afraid of physical work or winter cold and snow. Your job includes receiving arriving flights and preparing them for departure – handling both luggage and passengers. As a cargo loader, you will be responsible for unloading and loading aircraft, and participating in different stages of aircraft turnaround. Daily tasks may also include operating stairs and other ground handling equipment. Learn the aviation industry practically and work in a role where every interaction matters. Important aspects of this work include - Ensuring that aircraft depart safely and on schedule – adhering to aviation regulations even in busy times. - Being proactive and able to work efficiently regardless of weather conditions. - Maintaining a relaxed atmosphere where it is pleasant to work. We hope you enjoy working with us and that your journey in the aviation industry continues with interesting roles. Would you like to develop your skills alongside seasonal work? In collaboration with REDU, we offer the opportunity to complete parts of a qualification through apprenticeship while working on seasonal tasks.
