Process Engineer (Surface Treatment)

What will you be doing? We are looking for a Process Engineer to join Wipro Infrastructure Engineering as a technical expert in surface treatment. You will develop and evaluate new and existing surface treatment methods at Wipro’s manufacturing sites and support production, R&D, and other teams in technical matters. Your work will focus especially on industrial painting and pretreatment processes, corrosion testing, and improving process quality and efficiency. Your projects may include reducing paint and energy use, improving cycle times, and finding more environmentally friendly solutions. You will also support equipment investments by defining technical requirements and taking part in testing and commissioning. In addition, you will help investigate production issues, support the technical handling of customer complaints, and work with customers, suppliers, and Wipro teams at the manufacturing sites in Perniö, Sweden, and Romania. What makes you a great fit? You have a strong practical and technical understanding of industrial surface treatment processes and experience in developing them. You understand not only individual process steps but also the whole process and how different changes can affect quality, costs, efficiency, and production. You are interested in improving processes and finding better technical solutions.
