Water Management Specialist - Pohjois-Pohjanmaan elinkeino-, liikenne- ja ympäristökeskus - Pori, Finland

The Water Management Specialist promotes water conservation and improves water quality in the Kokemäenjoki-Saaristomeri-Selkämeri water management area. The main task is to advance measures outlined in water management plans, including overseeing and guiding state discretionary grant projects, maintaining and developing networks of water management experts by guiding and participating in their activities. Additionally, the specialist fosters cooperation among project actors and the development of broader project entities. Tasks include advising and guiding various stakeholders and maintaining water management information systems. A key responsibility is coordinating the Satavesiohjelma program operating in Satakunta and participating in its implementation. The specialist also participates in the implementation of EU projects within the water management area. The role can be tailored based on the skills of the selected candidate. The primary work location is Pori.
