Permanent position for School Worker at Otanmäki School and Daycare - Kajaanin kaupunki - Kajaani, Finland

We are seeking a school worker for Kajaani Mamselli at Otanmäki School and Daycare for a permanent, part-time position (30 hours/week, 6 hours/day) starting from August 3, 2026. Kajaanin Mamselli provides high-quality and competitive catering and cleaning services in accordance with sustainable development principles. Mamselli is a municipal enterprise owned by the City of Kajaani. As a business, Mamselli operates on a business basis and is responsible for its results. The total turnover is approximately €10 million, employing 160 professionally committed staff. We need a skilled school worker for a permanent, part-time position (30 hours/week, 6 hours/day) starting from August 3, 2026, at Otanmäki School and Daycare. As a school worker, you will primarily work independently as part of the school and daycare community. Your duties include cleaning in various facilities and providing meal services, which include heating and serving food, dishwashing, and customer service. You will handle daily operations of the unit and work directly with customers and in close interaction with the unit manager. At Mamselli, you will have the opportunity to develop your unit’s operations in collaboration with the community, and if desired, you can occasionally work at other Mamselli locations to gain valuable experience across the organization. We expect a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good communication skills. Suitable education for the field is required. Experience and hygiene skills are considered an advantage. Finnish language skills are required. We offer a pleasant work community where it is a joy to work in the school and daycare environment. Work may also be performed at Vuolijoki unit from Otanmäki. Work hours are weekdays, mainly between 7:00 and 15:09. Changes to working hours are possible. Salary is in accordance with the local collective agreement.
