Researcher (administrative sciences) - Tampereen yliopisto - Remote - Global

The Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences form Finland's second largest multidisciplinary, inspiring, and impactful research and learning community. The university's core expertise areas are technology, health, and society. The position is in the Faculty of Management and Business, Administrative Sciences unit, and is part of a research project funded by the Academy of Finland. The researcher will conduct their doctoral research as part of the project, participate in research tasks and dissemination, collect and analyze qualitative data, publish academically, participate in international conferences, and collaborate with stakeholders. The role may include teaching or other academic duties up to 5% of working time. Requirements include a suitable higher university degree, readiness and motivation for doctoral studies, qualitative research skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in English and Finnish. Preferred experience includes interviews, document analysis, case studies, previous research, publications, or theses, and interest in social sports research, good governance, and value creation. The position is fixed-term for 17 months starting 1.9.2026, with a typical starting salary of about 2700 €/month, increasing with doctoral progress.
