The primary placement at the start of employment is at the Maantiekatu laboratory in Pori. The Maantiekatu laboratory is part of the Satakunta Wellbeing Services Area’s Laboratory unit. Our unit provides sample collection services and test services tailored to the needs of the Satakunta Wellbeing Services Area. The laboratory also offers training, guidance, and consultancy. Our laboratory is accredited by FINAS accreditation services (T245). The services at the Maantiekatu laboratory include blood, urine, throat, and fungal samples, as well as EKG, monitored sample collection, glucose tolerance tests, and gynecological samples. We also accept samples from other hospitals' referrals. Employment terms are determined according to the SOTE agreement. We observe a six-month probation period. The specific salary for a laboratory nurse is €2900.75/month. The working hours are 38.25 hours/week.
