Job Description
Skydio is seeking a Product Design Engineer to design mechanical parts and assemblies for autonomous drones and related systems. The role involves developing structures, mechanisms, and solutions from ground-up, collaborating with electrical engineers, interfacing with vendors, and supporting manufacturing processes. Candidates should have experience in product development, proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably CATIA), and knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, metal casting, and CNC machining. The position offers a salary range of $115,000 to $235,000 annually, with benefits including health insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and 401K. The role may require FAA Part 107 certification and is based in San Mateo, California.
