Job Description
Pilke gently guides children on their learning journey. Our early childhood education includes learning through play and gentle interaction. We recognize and see each child's unique abilities and support their strengths. Pilke aims to be the best in Finland in the early childhood education sector. This goal is achieved through teamwork. We are looking for an Early Childhood Educator Childcare Worker at Pilke Nature Daycare Kurki. This position suits you if you want to utilize your skills, develop and innovate, and leave your personal mark to create a good day for children and colleagues. The work begins in August 2026, subject to agreement. The employment is temporary. Our daycare provides high-quality, child-centered early childhood education for children aged 0-5 years. In our nature-oriented daycare, children learn a positive attitude towards nature and sustainable living. We expect you to have a strong pedagogical approach, a positive and active attitude, good interaction skills, and the ability to genuinely connect with children. Our working method is solution-focused, and we encourage trying new things. In Pilke daycares, work is divided among adults working with children so that everyone has time to focus on their tasks and do them as well as possible. We are particular about: - A relevant social and health care qualification (childcare or practical nurse including education in child and youth care) or an equivalent degree, e.g., childcare worker or day care assistant. - The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by law for working with children.
