Shift Supervisor - IKH Oy - Kauhajoki, Finland

We are looking for a SHIFT SUPERVISOR at our logistics center in Kauhajoki, responsible for the smooth operation of the shift and personnel management. The role involves shift work (morning and evening shifts). In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring that daily activities proceed as planned, efficiently and safely, even in changing situations. As a shift supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for managing the operational activities of the shift, organizing work, allocating resources, ensuring work quality and efficiency, ensuring safety procedures are followed, actively communicating with staff, directing and prioritizing tasks, timely forklift refills, leading the shift team (about 30-40 people), resolving disruptions, reporting related to the shift, and ensuring timely delivery of products safely and cost-effectively with a motivated team. We expect you to have good understanding of warehouse processes, at least 5 years of supervisory experience, knowledge of safety regulations, initiative, organizational skills, strong communication skills, customer service attitude, and willingness to develop operations.
